About the position
As an assembly mechanic, you will contribute to building innovative, custom-made machines for the food processing industry. Working within a team of around 15 colleagues, you’ll assemble, test, and fine-tune machines that are shipped to clients worldwide. This role offers a mix of technical challenges and variety, as no two machines are the same. Your ability to read technical drawings, collaborate effectively, and maintain precision will be key to your success.
What You Will Do:
- Assemble: complete machines based on technical drawings and work instructions.
- Install: mechanical and mechatronic components, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical parts.
- Test: and verify the quality and functionality of machines before shipment.
- Collaborate: with your team on international projects to ensure smooth processes.
- Contribute: ideas for improvements and more efficient ways of working.

- Monthly salary between €4,000 and €4,500 (including ADV allowance).
- Fulltime job (32 hours is also possible) with perspective of a permanent contract.
- Work in dayshift where you can start between 06:00 and 08:30.
- 27 paid vacation days and 8% holiday allowance.
- Travel allowance of €0.23 net per kilometer.

Job Requirements
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Assembly Mechanic to join our innovative team and contribute to building high-quality, custom machines.
- Technical education preferably in mechatronics.
- Experience in machine construction; food industry experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Willingness to obtain a VCA certificate.
- Strong technical insight and attention to detail.
- You have a good command of the English language and Dutch at a minimum A2 level.
- You have your own accommodation and transport.
- Capable of working both independently and in a team.
