About the position
As an operator/production worker at Scheuten Glas, you will be trained to work with the specialised machinery designed for processing flat glass surfaces. If you’re keen to learn, you’ll have the opportunity to work on various machines that process the glass as follows: cutting, polishing, drilling and much more; The process is mostly automated. Most of the time, you’ll be responsible for checking the quality of the product and operating the machines. You’ll often have to carry out physical tasks such as transporting glass to the right place. As you’ll be doing physical work, at least you won’t need to go to the gym after work!
If you don’t have any experience of this kind of work, but you’re keen to learn and take on a challenge, this is the place for you!
Your daily tasks include:
- Operating and adjusting different automated production machines
- Setting up machines for different production orders
- Monitoring product quality throughout the production process
- Solving minor technical issues
- Performing basic machine maintenance
- Working safely with your team
- Keeping your workplace clean and organized

- Starting salary up to €3.149, including shift allowances: 2-shift (15%) or 3-shift (23%)
- Annual bonus up to €2,500 gross

Job Requirements

You are someone who:
- has MBO Level 1 or 2
- has prefered experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operator or similar
- enjoys technical work
- can work in 2 or 3 shifts
- values safety and quality
- likes working in a team
- physical ability for tasks like lifting and standing
