About the position
As an industrial blaster, you will contribute to the quality and durability of our metal products by preparing surfaces and applying specialized techniques. You’ll work closely with a team of 20 professionals in our conservation department, ensuring that every product meets the high standards our clients expect. Your expertise in blasting and schoopering will play a key role in protecting our products from rust and preparing them for further processing. What You Will Do:
- Prepare: metal surfaces for blasting and coating by ensuring they are clean and ready for treatment.
- Operate: the blasting line and other equipment, including overhead cranes, to ensure smooth production processes.
- Apply: schoopering techniques to protect metal surfaces from corrosion and ensure durability.
- Inspect: the quality of treated surfaces to ensure they meet company and client standards.
- Collaborate: with your team to maintain a safe, efficient, and high-quality workflow.
What we offer
- A monthly salary between €3300 and €3600 gross based on a 40-hour workweek, including shift allowance.
- A permanent contract offering long-term stability.
- Full-time employment with flexible options between 32 and 40 hours per week.
- 38 days off per year, including 25 vacation days and 13 ATV days, to recharge and enjoy life outside of work.

Job Requirements
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our conservation team, bringing expertise in metalworking and a commitment to quality.
- Experience with metal conservation and grit-corundum blasting.
- Familiarity with the schoopering process is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Dutch or English is required.
- You have your own accommodation and live in the area of NIjmegen.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
