About the position
As a Forklift driver Production employee at Rockwool in Roermond -East near the German border, you will contribute to ensuring a smooth production process in a dynamic and innovative environment. Your role combines operating a forklift with supporting production activities, making every day varied and engaging. Safety, teamwork, and adaptability are key to your success in this position. With flexible shifts and opportunities for growth, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in an active setting and values collaboration. Working hours are: 07:00 - 15:00, 15:00 - 23:00 and 23:00 - 07:00 from Monday until Friday and/or on weekends.
Different tasks, example:
- Operate a forklift: loading, unloading, and moving materials efficiently within the production area.
- Support production: assist with machine operations and maintain an efficient workflow.
- Packing of products
- Cleaning/ maintain the workspace: ensure your work area is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Participate in team briefings: contribute to effective communication and seamless shift handovers with colleagues.
- Adapt to flexible shifts: work in 3- or 5-shift rotations and align your availability with Rockwool’s planning needs.

- An hourly salary of €16.01 plus different allowances: 25% surcharge between 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM, 35% surcharge between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM and 57% surcharge on weekends.
- A temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
- Flexible working hours between 24 and 40 hours per week, 8 hours a day

Job Requirements
We are looking for a proactive forklift operator who thrives in a dynamic production environment and values safety and teamwork.
- Valid forklift certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Physically fit and comfortable in an active workplace.
- Available for rotating shifts, including weekends.
- Proficient in Dutch; English or German is a plus.
- Minimum availability of 24 hours per week.
