About the position
As a logistics medewerker at GLS HUB Utrecht, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our busy warehouse. You’ll be part of a large team, collaborating with colleagues and team leaders to ensure packages are handled efficiently and safely. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, thrives in a dynamic environment, and has a keen eye for detail. No prior experience is required, as we’ll provide you with all the necessary training to succeed.
The worktimes are from 20:00 untill 04:30 hours.So you start at 20:00 hours and work untill 04:30 hours.
What You Will Do:
- Handle packages: loading, unloading, scanning, sorting, and stacking goods, including mini’s and NOCO’s.
- Operate equipment: use tools like hand pallet trucks or electric pallet trucks (EPTs) to assist in daily tasks.
- Inspect shipments: check packages for irregularities, including hazardous materials (ADR), and report issues to the team leader.
- Maintain standards: follow safety, quality, and environmental guidelines as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Contribute to the workspace: ensure the warehouse remains clean, safe, and organized while addressing any deviations proactively.
What we offer
- Earn a salary of €16,10 per hour between 20:00 - 00:00, and €16,47 per hour between 00:00 and 05:00 (including shift allowance).
- Temporary contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer to support your commute.
- Training provided for using Electric Pallet Trucks (EPTs) to enhance your skills.

Job Requirements
- Your are fluent in either the Dutch or the English language
- You are physicallystrong and able to do physical work over a long period of time. This is because the work consistof a lot of walking and lifting boxes up to 25 kg.
- You have your own transportation to get to work.
- Ability to work in evening and night shifts.
- No prior experience needed; training will be provided.
