About the position
As a logistics employee at GEODIS, you will play an active role in shaping the operations of our brand-new, high-tech warehouse in Horst. Your day-to-day tasks will involve working with modern equipment and contributing to the smooth flow of logistics processes for high-value products. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team where your input on improving processes and workflows is highly valued. With your experience in picking, packing, and operating equipment like EPTs or forklifts, you’ll help ensure that orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
What You Will Do:
- Order picking: collect and prepare products using an electric pallet truck (EPT).
- Quality control: check orders for completeness and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Packing: securely pack products for shipment while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Equipment operation: use forklifts, reach trucks, or combitrucks if you hold valid certifications.
- Process improvement: actively contribute ideas to optimize workflows in this new warehouse environment.

- Hourly salary between €14.98 and €16.20, based on experience.
- Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
- Full-time role of 40 hours per week.
- 8% holiday allowance for additional financial support.
- Travel reimbursement starting from 10 km (up to €11.50/day).

Job Requirements
We are looking for a motivated and experienced logistics professional who thrives in a dynamic, high-tech warehouse environment.
- 1-2 years of logistics experience, including EPT and picking/packing.
- Forklift, reach truck, or combi truck experience (valid certificates required).
- Physically fit and comfortable with walking and lifting tasks.
- Proficient in English and able to provide a VOG.
- Own transportation and flexibility to work between 07:00-18:00.
