About the position
As a production worker, you will play a pivotal role in our foundry's operations, directly impacting our ability to deliver high-quality iron weights to a global market. You'll tackle the dynamic challenges of the molding and casting process, requiring precision, safety awareness, and a collaborative spirit. We're looking for a technically adept individual with hands-on experience, a proactive approach, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Production: manage the molding process, ensuring forms are accurately prepared for the foundry department and maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Foundry operations: carefully handle liquid iron, pouring it into molds and monitoring the cooling process to achieve the best results.
- Finishing: after cooling, remove castings from molds with attention to detail, preparing them for the blast cabinet while prioritizing safety.
- Quality control: perform detailed inspections post-blast to ensure products meet our rigorous quality criteria before they are sent to customers.
- Teamwork: actively engage with your colleagues to meet collective production targets and foster a supportive work environment.
