About the position
As a Metal Operator, you’ll play a vital role in creating top-quality iron counterweights for our international clients. Your work will be varied, practical, and essential to the production process. From preparing molds to assisting in casting and finishing products, you’ll work side by side with skilled colleagues who value safety, craftsmanship, and team spirit.Your tasks include:
- Preparing molds according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Safely operating overhead cranes to move heavy castings.
- Grinding and finishing products to precise dimensions.
- Applying surface treatments such as sanding and filling.
- Performing quality checks to maintain our high standards.
- Collaborating with your team to achieve production goals in a positive, supportive environment.
- You will be working steady day shifts from 07:30 to 16:30.

Job Requirements
We’re seeking a motivated, technically minded team player who’s ready to commit to a long-term role. You:
- Are available full-time and looking for stability.
- Have experience working with tools (experience in the metal industry is a strong plus).
- Have operated overhead cranes before (or are eager to learn).
- Work well independently as well as in a team.
- Speak and understand English well.
- Have your own accommodation and transport.
- Are hands-on, flexible, and proactive.

Located in Nijmegen, our foundry has been producing iron counterweights since the 19th century. With a dedicated team of around 40 employees, our products are trusted by clients across Europe and beyond. We combine traditional craftsmanship with modern production techniques. The workplace is easily accessible by car from Arnhem, Tiel, Boxmeer – and even from Germany (e.g., Kleve or Goch).
