About the position
In this role, you’ll be working with large blocks of cheese, including the aged cheese crusts. Ever wondered why the sliced cheese in supermarkets has no crust? That’s your work!
As a Production Worker at Uniekaas, you essentially perform two important roles in one:
As a Production Worker at Uniekaas, you essentially perform two important roles in one:
- You lift 15 kg cheese blocks from the rack and place them onto pallets.
- Then, you carefully position the cheese blocks on your adjustable workstation. Using a high-tech shaving machine, you precisely remove the crusts. Once done, you place the cleaned cheese on a separate pallet and use an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) to move it to the next production stage.
- Morning shift: 06:00 – 14:00
- Afternoon shift: 14:00 – 22:00
- Night shift: 22:00 – 06:00

Job Requirements
- Physically fit: comfortable with heavy lifting and standing work.
- Available fulltime in a 3-shift system.
- Have your own transport and accommodation.
- Experience with operating an EPT or willing to learn.
