About the position
As a Supply Chain Planner at IFF, you play a vital role in managing the availability of raw materials and balancing global supply and demand. You ensure that production is not delayed, inventory levels remain healthy, and products reach customers across the globe. This position offers a dynamic and international environment with a focus on coordination, planning, and continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities:

- Align short- and long-term inventory needs with supply and demand
- Lead meetings with internal stakeholders and vendors to review forecasts and address planning challenges
- Monitor and coordinate material flows across purchasing, storage, production, and distribution
- Maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory
- Resolve material shortages and collaborate with local material coordinators and supply chain managers
- Optimize availability and inventory turnover (global inventory days)
- Proactively improve planning tools and processes
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure delivery performance and contract compliance
What we offer
- Temporary fulltime position for approximately 6 months
- Competitive monthly salary based on your experience: €3,600 – €5,400
- 8.33% holiday pay and 5.12% ADV allowance
- Vacation days accumulated starting from your first working day
- Travel allowance: €0.21 per kilometer
- Pension contributions from your first week of employment
- Flexible working hours (Monday to Friday during office hours)
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain planning or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Excel and other MS Office tools
- Experience with SAP, APO, or MRP systems is preferred
- Fluent in English and/or Dutch, both written and spoken
- A hands-on and analytical mindset, with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- A continuous improvement mindset and accountability in your work
