As a junior laboratory technician, you will work in a modern laboratory where metals are analyzed using the fire assay method. No experience is required: you will receive extensive training and be guided step by step through this specialized process. You will work in a fixed team within a two-shift schedule and make an important contribution to analyses used worldwide.
What will you do?
- Accurately weigh raw materials and prepare samples for analysis
- Fully learn and correctly apply the fire assay method
- Carefully process research results in the system
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace
- Collaborate with colleagues in an international and structured work environment
Wat we je bieden
- A gross hourly wage of €14.71 plus a 13% shift allowance, totaling €16.62 per hour (approximately €2,892 per month)
- A fixed two-shift schedule from 06:00 to 14:30 and 14:00 to 22:30, with no night shifts
- Travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometer
- A temporary contract through us, with the prospect of a permanent position

Functie-eisen
- You are legally allowed to work in the Netherlands. We do not provide visa sponsorship, relocation, or housing.
- You speak clearly understandable English; Dutch is a plus for growth opportunities.
- You live in (the area of) Spijkenisse and can reach the location without relying on public transport.
- Interest in technology or experience in a production or laboratory environment.
- An accurate and safety-conscious way of working.
Over het bedrijf
You will become part of a team of approximately 25 colleagues working in shifts. English is the main working language, and new employees receive strong guidance. The atmosphere is professional yet approachable: colleagues support one another, and sharing knowledge is encouraged. This is not standard production work, but a specialized profession in which you can develop yourself for the long term.
